Film of the year- Avatar (in 3D at the IMAX you'll not beat the experience of being in a cinema. Sure the story is Dances With Wolves and the US is nasty for invading Irag for oil but we knew that already).
Worst- 2012. CGI shite. Considering what Cameron did with Avatar it's about time everyone else stopped using their 48k Spectrums and gets with the program.
Surf film- Modern Collective. Surfing is not surfing anymore… See this and weep.
TV Show US-True Blood, vampires, sex, humour, lots of boobies and shapeshifting dogs: what else do you need in a program. Honorary mention Dexter even though season 4 is soooo depressing.
TV UK- Top Gear. I don't give a stuff about cars but love this program like it's my own child.
Worst TV- X factor. Bad kareoke. Nuff said.
Album UK- Florence & The Machine- Lungs. Brill.
Album International- Animal Collective (just cos everyone else says so, ha, no it is actually blinding) Yeah Yeah Yeah's 09 release It's Blitz is a narrow second.
Gadget- Canon 7d. Tool of choice for surf photogs in 2010.
Website- Marine Layer. Dane is cool as fuck. We know this.
Geek thing- Twitter. Couldn't get away from it. Even though no one you know was using it.
WCT event- Portugal. Just a shitload of fun and some really good surfing.
ASP Doh! Moment- The ASP Dr for missing Kerrzys broken tibia.
ASP Double Doh!- Giving the injury wildcards to Neco and Steds?!?
Time keeping award- Sunny. Buy a watch next time you want to win the Triple Crown eh?
Shock- Kelly not winning the Eddie.

Economic bravery- Greg M leaving Pit Pilot in what's not the best time to be a freelancer.
Mag of the year- ASL. Just doing what a mag is sposed to do. And then some. Which includes paying me for online content.
Closure- Post Surf. We all miss the bile pit that was the comments and Lewis's acerbic wit.
Brit Surfer- Stoker. Had a blinder.
Surf Chick- Gwen. Back from the Brain Drain and winning all.
Charger of the Year- James 'Shippies' Hick.
Traveller- Batty.
Move- Reubyn's Rodeo in Sri Lanka.
Swordsman- Tiger (just don't call the 6 mistresses his '18 holes').
Riot- G20. That was fun.
Best place Slides been this year- Lakeys (surf) Cambodia or Death Valley (not surf).
Funnest trip with crap surf- Cali with Gwen, Beth and Tassy.
