North Shore Day-2... After a wonderful nights sleep where I woke at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep til 7 it's pretty much flat on Da Rock. Knee high dribblers abound which whilst fun to surf aren't what we're here for. No worries though as the Pacific is a very obliging ocean and is currently rolling its sleeves up and loosening its belt in anticipation of giving the 7-mile miracle a damn good seeing to...
A swell train is steaming our way, should hit lunchtime and should keep on building all arvo. Them fellas over at MSW are calling 10ft swell by this evening. After that we're gonna be in for a run of BIG surf with the swell for late Sunday into Monday looking all kinds of scary colours on the WAM charts. Eddie? Maybe, if not bombing Pipe hopefully. As it is I don't mind a chilled out morning making sure all the camera gears good to go and that. Standard.
Other point of interest? Well. There's a man in a microlite flying around outside. The fridge here is stuck on MAX so is freezing anything and everything you put in it making for a 'not that handy' chunky ice-cube milk effect on the Frosted Wheats. And when anyone showers upstairs the water is dripping through a light fitting into the kitchen, it's quite odd to watch water drip from an illuminated light bulb, I'm sure it must be dangerous some how...
Slap bang in the middle of this pic is the main peak at Backyards... Normally. It should be back by this evening when I'll shoot a compare and contrast image.
