There's been a lot of merde thrown at the ASP and the World Tour recently. Bad waves event after event, rebel tour rumours and interweb forum bitching. Today will hopefully remind people why the tour is a good thing- the world's best surfers in the world's best waves. Waves that us mere mortals would not have a hope in surfing. 10-point tube rides like this.

I've spent the last three hours whittling them down to a manageable amount. 10 for the Surfing Life website. A few more for me. And now I am pooped... This has been a hellishly long event but it's all been worth it. Can't wait for the highlight package from today to be edited together.
