Sorry for lack of posts in the last week or so, the anticipated "wifi" and "good internet connection" in Sri Lanka's Aragum Bay didn't materialise. And with O2 charging £6 a MB on the iPhone when in non-european international areas it was a bit of a mare... So. Plan is thus- I'll just post what I was going to post a week or two late. So we left on a weds I'll post from then. In brief it was a good trip with plenty of amusing moments and a lot of wildlife. When people describe an area as a 'zoo' they really can only say that in Sri Lanka... Elephants, monkeys, scorpions, snakes, bats, jellyfish and more. Honorary Geordie Saffa and Pipe ledge' Richie Sills won the UK Pro Tour event and I've got a good few gigs of photos to sort out... Plenty of stuff in the pipe people- jetlag be damned.

some guys had a couple of beers sang a song and fell asleep how ugly! it was like 911!!! the lady who fell asleep snoring a couple of rows ahead of them was more annouying.

Storm in a tea cup. I was ten rows in front and hardly heard them. Rumours of flight being diverted to Athens are just that RUMOURS. I don't think the hosties said anything to them. Few too many beers and boys having a laugh really. Sure not too cool if you were sat next door but I woulda rather sat next to them than the guy I sat next to with ragin body odour... Pub banter is all it was.

i agree sharpy.
I was sat in the row right in front of them, I could still hear and watch the shity films and eat my nasty food in peace. What about fat people on planes, when they spill out over the arm rest into your personal space?!! or crying babys?! Way more annoying. And people with short hair and big ears.......no wait.....forget the last one!
